ABOUT EVELYN BAKER
Fine Artist
Based in Liverpool, United Kingdom
My practice explores the intersection of spirituality and the natural world, channelling Mark Fisher's book, 'The Weird and the Eerie', as means to unlock deeper truths and hidden realms. Through organic forms and distorted representations of nature, I seek to evoke a sense of the uncanny - these moments where the familiar becomes unsettling and strange. I believe the natural world is imbued with unseen energies, a spiritual essence that transcends the material, and my practice is a dialogue with these forces.
